Listed below is the service hours opportunity for working the Snack Bar in the gym during the Fall girls volleyball season.  Please email spartansports@verizon.net for the dates and times you wish to serve and you will receive a confirmation email.  This list will be periodically updated.
Note that instructions for working the Snack Bar are posted on the refrigerator in the gym.  Food, drinks, money and keys will be provided to you.  All you need to do is show up.

Make it 25
 
Two different distributions (hard copy and online form) of the C sports uniform indicated two different costs for the uniform ($29 on the hard copy and $25 on the online version).  We were hoping the vendor could provide the uniform for $25 but after some negotiating we were able to get it down to $29.  However, due to our hopes and our miscommunication, we have decided to make the C uniform available at a cost of $25.  If you already paid $29, we will reimburse you.  If you have not yet paid, then you can pay $25.




REGISTRATION INFORMATION
 
If your child is playing girls volleyball, flag football or cross country, you must register for the Spartan Booster Club.  Here are the steps involved for registering:
 
Step 1 - Read the Athletic Department Policy Manual which can be found in the Registration tab.
 
Step 2 - Have your child read the Spartan STUDENT Code of Conduct which is part of the Policy Manual.
 
Step 3 - Print out the Membership Agreement and complete the information.
 
Step 4 - Print out the Spartan ADULT Code of Conduct, read and sign.
 
Step 5 -  Turn in Membership Agreement, Spartan ADULT Code of Conduct and the Fees to the attention of John Mueller, Athletic Director.
 
Step 6 - The fees are as follows:  a)  Booster Fee of $100 per FAMILY for the school year (waived for Cross Country participants only) and b) Participatory Fee of $50 per student per sport (exception - Cross Country is $20 per student).
 
Step 7 - If your child is in 3rd or 4th grade, print out the C sports uniform form, complete and turn in to John Mueller along with a check for $25, made payable to St Jerome School.  The C sports uniform should be turned in IMMEDIATELY in order to ensure the timely arrival of the uniforms.
 
DEADLINE TO TURN IN MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT, SPARTAN ADULT CODE OF CONDUCT AND APPROPRIATE FEES IS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2008.  BEGINNING THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 22, PLAYER SUSPENSIONS WILL BE ENFORCED FOR THOSE FAMILIES WHO HAVE FAILED TO TURN IN THE ABOVE. 
 
 


WELCOME TO SPARTAN NATION 2008-09
 
The start of the school year is also synonomous with Girls Volleyball and Flag Football.  We are looking forward to a very exciting sports year.
 
Here is some basic information.  First and foremost, our sports program is for grades 3 thru 8:  C is for grades 3 and 4, B is for grades 5 and 6 and A is for grades 7 and 8.

Girls B Volleyball - Coach Eric Young (game schedule and roster to be posted before September 17)
Girls C Volleyball - Coach Kesaia Del Toro (game schedule and roster to be posted before September 17)
 
A Flag Football - Coaches Randy and Rick Billups (game schedule posted in calendar; roster to be posted)
B Flag Football - Coach Will Sheffie (game schedule and roster to be posted before September 17)
C Flag Football - Coach Frank Plasencia (game schedule and roster to be posted before September 19)
 
Co-ed Cross Country for Grades 5 - 8 - Coach Jacqui Childs will take the lead in this first ever, trial sport being offered at St. Jerome.  If you have a child that plans to join the Cross Country team ONLY, then the participatory fee is $20 per student per child.  While you must still register for the Spartan Booster Club, the Booster Fee of $100 is waived.  However, if your child subsequently plays another St. Jerome sport, then the Booster Fee of $100 will be owed.
